Regenerating Mount Martha Park: Protecting a Significant Herb-Rich Creek line

Invested to date: $1,953.16


In partnership with Friends of Mount Martha Park, this project focuses on protecting and restoring a significant herb-rich creek line ecosystem within Mount Martha Park.
Works include:
•    Revegetation using indigenous species
•    Weed suppression
•    Habitat protection
•    Creek line stabilisation
•    Improving ecological resilience within the reserve
This important project helps preserve one of the peninsula’s valuable remnant ecological communities.
 

Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters we work to protect.

 

We recognise their deep cultural, spiritual and environmental connection to Country, and honour the knowledge and stewardship that has cared for these landscapes since time immemorial.

 

We pay our respects to Elders past and present and remain committed to learning from and supporting First Nations voices in caring for Country.
