OUR PROJECTS AND GRANTS

At Sunshine Reserve, community, conservation and connection to Country sit at the heart of everything we do.

Through partnerships, grants and grassroots volunteer effort, we are restoring habitat, strengthening wildlife corridors and protecting the unique biodiversity of Sunshine Reserve, Mount Martha Park and surrounding bushland reserves.

Our projects focus on long-term ecological restoration, from creek-line rehabilitation and Indigenous revegetation to threatened species habitat protection, community education and National Tree Day initiatives.

Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group acknowledges the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters we work to protect.

We recognise their deep cultural, spiritual and environmental connection to Country, and honour the knowledge and stewardship that has cared for these landscapes since time immemorial.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present and remain committed to learning from and supporting First Nations voices in caring for Country.
